Road Train runs daily for summer

Road Train tours of Clonakilty run daily for the 2023 summer season from mid May to the end of August.

Aboard the Road Train you will spot many buildings that the Model Village have recreated in miniature. The delightful traditional hand painted shop fronts, the historic Presbyterian church that is now home to the local Post Office, statues depicting Tadhg an Asna and Michael Collins.

Learn the history of the award winning town of Clonakilty while listening to the audio tour while travelling along narrow streets that open into elegant squares. Pass along the brewery buildings and mills that mark the town’s trading heritage.

Painted in the green & red colours of Clonakilty, the Choo Choo Road Train has two carriages, is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all ages.
