Road Train Tour of Clonakilty

What better way to see Clonakilty than a leisurely trip of the town in our Choo Choo Road Train.

Clonakilty has been designated as West Cork’s Heritage Town by Board Failte, and during your tour you’ll soon understand why. The architecture is quintessentially Irish, from delightful traditional hand painted shop fronts, to the old Presbyterian church that is now home to the local post office and the Town Council and Library in a converted Corn Mill. Choo Choo makes its way along narrow streets and lanes that open into elegant squares with the river flowing through. Pass along the brewery buildings and mills that mark the town’s trading heritage and soak up the wonderful coastal scenery along the way.

Clonakilty is strategically located at the gateway to West Cork and has a strong base of natural amenities. It is the beach centre of the region with 90% of West Cork beaches within a 10-mile radius of the town.
